Hey guys,
I have a 2007 bmw 328i Wondering if I could get some help here. I have seen and read many threads talking about this modification and most talk about adding leveling sensors and other components. Am I able to just swap my halogens to the xenons without adding anything else?? and would it be worth it? |

Its always worth it upgrading headlights. You may have to do wire splicing or make a harness and you'll need the FRM+coding from the xenon car.
You could wire up the self leveling system or you could just use the manual static leveling system from your halogens, also if they have the adaptive feature; wiring that up would be an even bigger pain. |

Anyone?
All these forums confuse me. Some don’t mention swapping out the FRM at all. They simply say to tap wire 2 to 4 and 5 to 6 and add $522 and what not. And others say to swap the frm completely to make it work and even repin some connections at the frm. I do NOT want the auto feature (adaptive) or whatever you call them. I just want the low, high, and turn signals ans AE to work normally. and have the lights aiming correctly of course. |
