Hip Hop's 3rd Loss
Today we lost Shock G of Digital Underground! He and his alter ego, Humpty, were one of my favorite groups back in the day because they are from where I was born. Hip Lost DMX, Black Rob & now Shock G...so far 2021 is shaping up to be just as crappy as 2020.

I saw this last night and had to listen to Sex Packets to remines. Hadn't listened to that album since I was a wee lad.

Friday when we went to Sushi-way and they had a DJ, I had to buy him a beer because he spun up some Humpty.
Then I walked to another table where a couple and their (10, 11yo?) daughter were rocking the house, and this little girl knew all the words to "How Deep is your love" I gave them props. BeeGees, get off my freaking lawn!! |
