I think am missing a few things in my trunk
Hi Guys,
I was just checking today to see if i can fit a spare wheel in my car but noticed something else. I saw these two sliver module boxes and from my research the one to the left is to do with the car radio and the one to the right I have no idea but it does say Continential and has a bluetooth sign. So with the box to the right could someone tell me what it is am guessing something to do with the car's tyre pressure system. As for the box on the left I noticed that there seems to be a fan missing and something else to the right of the fan. Could someone let me know if I should be looking to buy another the fan and also what that little thing to the right of it is please? (both devices circled in red). |

Have you run a Vin check on your car to check the options.
The one on the left is usually Satalite Radio in the US it may be DAB or IBoc (Hd radio in the UK). The one on the Right it usually the TCU in early cars and the Mulf or Mulf 2 hi is under it if you have USB. Or Combox if you have a later model. These names should appear on the module. The space in the middle is blank in every car I have seen. Tire modules aren't located in that area usually it's under the car. UK models may be different and we have no idea what plates mean. If the car is not fully optioned it will be missing that module. Missing or non functioning modules will generally cause error codes especially if they are on the most bus. |

Thanks for the comment mate.
Funny enough i did get some error codes when doing a scan just for the fun of it but never really looked into them as the car is fine. i don't use the radio since I updated my CCC unit to a CIC but i'll have to look into those codes and see if everything is fine, thanks again |
