Kess and ecm titanium
Anyone have any experience with this 2 programs and remapping the mav80 ecu. I'm currently running the bimmerlabs mafless tune and looking to modify it myself to increase power.
Please chime in

Kess is really, really slow (it writes the *whole* file, instead of the calibration). It also doesn't give you any definitions for modification, it's just a flasher. I find Alientech stuff to just be weird and glitchy in general and definitely overpriced.
You're better off reading out the DME, modifying it yourself, and uploading the file back to Bimmerlabs. It'll generate a new batch flash file using your modified tune (~30 second flash vs 30-60 minutes). Last edited by hassmaschine; 05-14-2021 at 03:54 PM.. |
