A not so popular opinion for shipping the PE would be to cut it up. I know some people would have a fit over it, but after all it's under the car, no one sees it.

I had a guy come from Socal once for a full e30 exhaust. Was like 6" longer than the wagon he brought to bring it home. 2 min with a hacksaw and he was on his way needing just a $50 weld for it to be good as new.


Also OP--I'd consider Uship for shipping. May be able to help you out at a decent rate.
