RFT VS MICHELIN PS2s

Hello all. I was talking to my friend yesterday about ride quality of the 19 inch wheels coming with the sport package (style 230), with the rfts. I talked to my local dealer, and they said they can swap it out with michelin ps2s. Which route would you guys go with. My friend said that the ride quality and the noise in the cabin will be horrible with the 19s and RFTs. I had been in a e92 coupe with 18 inch wheels and RFTs and it wasnt that bad at all. Anyways, let me know, thanx

Is your dealer going to swap in regular PS2 or the RFT PS2? FWIW, either is better than the Bridgestones..

Either is better, but I'd go non-RFT everyday.

Agree.....imho 19 is for looks and nothing else. 18 would in most cases provide for a lower wheel i.e. unsprung weight. If you look online, in many cases 19 and 20" rims are being closed-out for lower prices than 18. But they're heavy.

I thought I heard or read somewhere that RFT versions of the PS2 do not come in 19"?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

They do come in a 19" but you may be right if you meant that they may not come in the right height/width aspect for the 3 series BMWs.
