How to remove stock DPs on xi

anybody? DPs are hanging but wont budge. anybody?? remember for xi

either cut them in half and pull them out (catless aftermarket downpipes fit back in without issues)

I don't think aftermarket pipes will go back in without pulling the axle and bearing cage. Its not *too* hard if you know what you're doing. If you need some pointers feel free to give me a call, I will help as best I can!

My UR downpipes went back in without pulling the axle and bearing cage

I haven't installed URs. They are 2.5" all the way. Ours are 3" for about 1/2 of the pipe.

for jp's we removed the motor mount that's next to the dp's to get the new ones back in.

ar when removing the axle and bearing cage did you need to drain any tranny fluid? i think i asked you this in another post but not sure if you answered or not.

edit: jp's are 2.5" the whole way
