p0299 and BMW 4530 codes

So ever since I deleted my EGR and changed some of my vacuum lines out I have had this code. The nipple on my vacuum reservoir that connects to the rear pressure converter/ vacuum controller T broke off on the vacuum reservoir.. So i basically have that T sitting there with the one side open and the broken nipple on the reservoir open. The new part is ordered and i got refunded about a week after ordering from the first site because they had stock issues apparently. So im hoping to get it this week... Anyway, ive done quite a bit of research on this issue and i know all about the potential for the vacuum controller and pressure converters being faulty as well, but i thought it might be a good idea to just wait till i get the vacuum reservoir back on and get rid of all the "known" vacuum leaks. Has anyone had this happen to them exactly? And if so do you think this will solve the problem completely?

EDIT: I figured this might be helpful info for anyone whos good at diagnosing these boost issues, but as soon as i start the car and start driving around, before the CEL pops and i go into limp mode below 3-3.5k rpms it seems that the high pressure turbo boosts normally for a couple minutes..

You need the broken piece to be not broken.

fair enough. I knew that was coming. I'll update this when I get the part finally. I ordered it from europarts and newparts and they both canceled my order due to stock issues. What really bothered me was newparts took a week to cancel the order and I had transmission sleeves too and those also were canceled. Then while price shopping online I found an ebay post from newparts saying 5 DPF brackets in stock lmao. But I ordered it from fixmyvw so hopefully it should be here soon. In the meantime I made a new topic about my issues with removing my DPF. Im thinking a new tool is in order.. Maybe a angle impact driver to remove those engine mount bracket bolts?
