cat delete

hello so i'm having issues with my secondary cats and i'm thinking of just opening the pipes and remove the cats and then put them back and while i'm under there ill install my catless downpipes and then use MHDs option for not OEM downpipes so my question is, is that enough? will i get an engine light? and if so what more do i need to do to make sure everything is running good?
my car is 335xi 2009

Secondary cats have nothing to do with anything but smell and sound. If you install catless downpipes and click the option on mhd your set. Wont get codes
