Hey guys,

I was just driving my girlfriend home when the 4x4 malfunction error message popped on my iDrive.

I didn't have my laptop with me to check with INPA or ISTA but I did manage to scan the module with xDelete.

My car is an xDrive but is currently in RWD mode only, because I am using xDelete.

The error code that came up was the following:

0x55C3
55C3 VGSG limp home mode activated. DCX torque-request missing.

Is anybody able to break this down to me, to point me towards what might be wrong? It would be appreciated because I am a bit worried of the issue to be honest.

EDIT: Error Went away when I opened the car after an hour. Scanned it with ISTA and it was in memory but inactive. Cleared it and it didn't come back but I think it's only a matter of time, based on experience with this damn car.
