Parking Distance Control
I have just had an accident while parking in a confined space and I hit a bollard. It was my fault but my concentration was impaired by my front & back PDC sensors making awful noises (since all were very close to obstacles). I have found how to switch off the display on the SatNav screen (fat lot of good that is!) but can't find how to switch off the infernal, distracting noise. Can anyone advise?

Sorry to hear that. I find it distracting because for me it is rather loud. If it can't be muted can it be turned down a bit? Non-idrive here btw.

i found that when i simply use the volume control, it turns down the audible messages as well. i'm not sure how to turn it off permanently though.
