Tint in MA - HELP! (Boston area, but willing to drive...)
Hi,
I moved from CA, and just went to have my vehicle inspected. I was told by the inspection place that I either needed to have the tint removed (15%) or I could try to find an inspection station that might overlook the tint. But...if I get pulled over with tint, a cop could charge me something like $200 per window. That said, can anyone point me in the right direction for either? Please PM me. I also need a place to drill holes in my front bumper to put on a license place. Geez, Boston is strict! Thank you, Jennifer |

Don't listen to those people. I went to the Shell gas station by Fenway to get my inspection sticket. They never really cared about anything on my car.

Both are correct - you could probably find a place who will do the sticker and you don't have to put on front plates, that is if you don't mind being pulled over and fined once in a while. I've been pulled over for both - 20 minutes north of Boston. I don't take that risk anymore...
