Ok....need help e92/e93 owners w/ 19's
I've been bugged lately on how high my e93 looks. I supposedly have the sports package but my car looks really high. I've done a search and read how others say the sports package makes the car low and they have scraping problems. I have never ever scraped my car. Can anyone tell me how high their car sits from the bottom of the jacking points on the car (in inches please). Also could you tell me if you have 18's or 19's. I'm thinking the 19's is whats making my car sit higher. My car measure's 4.75 inches from the very bottom of the front jacking point.

If the overall wheel+tire diameter increases over stock, then it will be higher.

Normally the 18's and 19's should be the same if they are factory 19's no difference, if they are proper +1 size there should be no difference either as the 19's shoud have lower profile rubber for a net change of 0 on the diameter, so they should not add to your height.

I'll tell ya once I get home, and I'm thinking about getting 19's in the future too....
I have noticed though that my front fender well has a larger gap than my rear... |

Give us your tires specs and we can tell you if that's the problem.

They are factory 19's which should be almost the same rolling diameter as the 18's. I just need to see if anyone can measure their ground clearance so I can compare. If not, I may have to drive to the dealer and check it out.

Mine measures 4.25 inches, but I have 18's. Stock tires, with sports package.

yeah, they're all like that. for some reason BMW designs their cars with larger/higher front fenders.

hope this helps. just measured mine from the bottom of the front jacking point and apparently mine is about 4.8"
I have the sport package and I'm currently on 19" falken fk-452's (235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear) so if you think your car is high..

Yeah, mines about that high. Although a previous poster said his was 4.25 inches with the 18's on it so I guess the rim size does make a huge difference.

I wish I had measured mine back when I had 18's on it. If you want, I can measure a few friends' cars this upcoming thursday at a local meet and PM you the details later if you're still curious
