so about 3 weeks ago i had a big bubble in my left front tire so i took it to a local tire place over here that i know that accepts the rim and tire insurance from bmw and does the tire change for you there on the spot. so i got my tire changed didnt hav to lay 1 dollar out my pocket everything was fine i was happy..

2 weeks later im getten a car wash and i notice that the tire i just got thats brand new has another big bubble forming so i take it back to the tire place and the guy tells me that these tires suck blah blah blah and that he cant put it threw the insurance this soon to get me another one . so i sed fine and i left and drove with it like that up and till about 3 days ago.

so i take my car to my service center which is bmw in portchester 1 becuz both my tail lights were dead and becuz i wanted to get a new tire . to make a long story short there i was there for 4 in a half hours waiting and then he tells me that as of today my rims and tire insurance changed there policy that i must lay out the money to them for my new tire and then i will be reinbursed with a check in 2 to 3 weeks . a big pain in the ass but wuteva i needed the tire .


now today i wake up i go to the store i hear sumthing from the back drivers side tire. i pull over and there is a screw in the center of the tire almost fully in so now i no u cant plug or patch these tires so now i need another fucken tire this will be my 3rd tire in not even 1 year.

oh mannn i had problems with that shit, just change tires bro, i still didnt change mine cause i dont drive my car that much , but as soon as summer comes i'm changin' them...they're a pain in the ass.

you can patch the tire as long as a) the puncture isnt in the sidewall or near the sidewall b) the hole isnt too large c) the tire was not run on 0 psi

went to my local tire place they pulled out the nail . the hole was to big for a patch so they put a plug in it . hope it holds . didnt think a patch or plug was possiable with run flats ..

hahahhaahaha i dont mind the prices or the money ... wut gets me is the service . i was sitting at bmw from 1:00 to 4:30 .. all they did to my tail lights was tighten the brackets and tighten the blubs and they went back on . and as for the tire it shoodnt have took them more then 20 minz to do that ....

Yea but look at us we aren't the normal BMW demographic customer so they try and treat us that way.

You can plug any tire as long as it isnt in the sidewall or too large. I've plugged my runflat and it's been fine for months.

I'm pretty sure u can't or most places won't fix rft but I would just get the new tire there free well ok u pay for it but u get ur $ back... I been threw it

the plug is holding pretty good well see how long it last. If it holds I'll I won't get a new tire till the warm weather again !
