Rubber strip on top of windshield is peeling off...

Hi,

The Rubber Strip on top of windshield is almost peeled off on my 06 330i. Where to buy them and how to replace? Do I need to go to a mechanic to do this?

It’s a fairly easy DIY, get the center in place and work your way out. The top corners can be difficult but wait as long as possible to peel the adhesive strips.

Definitely an inexpensive and easy DIY. Gentle taps with a rubber mallet helps seat the new rubber trim in place. I got mine from FCP as well.

Is this the one? This says Front Upper. Do I need to buy both Front Upper and Lower?

BMW dealer sells these brand new still, many dealers even stock E46/E36. Call your local dealer's parts department, give them your VIN, and tell them which rubber seal. Pretty easy to DIY.

You should get a carbon fiber roof too, one of those 'while you're in there things' right?

That's what I would do
