Has anyone installed the CIC Andream CarPlay (or similar) unit? Not the screen itself, but the box.

If so, where did you put the box? I was watching a video for another box where the put it behind the temp controls but this box is just slightly thicker and won’t fit… I have taken out the glove box but can’t make out where to put it where it won’t rattle.

I have a 2011 E90 335i if that impacts it at all.

Edit: found a place between the glove box and radio compartment.

Just found your post. Curious how this unit is working for you? How was the install. Looking at putting one in my 2013 335i E93

In my experience my andream unit was buggy and would sometimes not take input from my scroll wheel. Was really annoying so I ended up uninstalling. I will be installing a wireless CarPlay unit with a touchscreen instead.

Where did you put all the cables. Unable to push the head unit back in place, couldn’t find where to put all the new cables

I trimmed the pass side radio cage which gave me that extra room for the stupid harness.
