Fuel gauge reading empty after lpfp upgrade
installed a new walboro lpfp with a new bucket assembly. after replacement the car reads empty even with gas and I also have the following codes:
29F3 DME: Fuel low-pressure sensor, electric 2DE4 DME: Fuel level sensor, left: Signal 2DE5 DME: Fuel level sensor, right: Signal 2DED DME: Power management, closed-circuit current violation. no check engine light and the car runs fine and pulls strong. lpfp readings in jb4 never drop below 50. hooked up the old lpfp outside of the tank and even when moving the float by hand it still reads empty and does not move. I checked all 3 fuses labeled in the diagram to gas symbol, they all look fine and not burnt out. any ideas? |

Pull the pump back out......something either didn't get connected right and/or or you have something wrapped around the float arm holding it down.
Pull it back out....go through all of the electrical connections. |

Yes either the float is stuck or the connecter is seated.
