Fair price to repair curb rash on rims

2008 BMW 335i E93. Minor curb rash and some small scratches on all 4 rims. I got a $325 mobile estimate today to repair. Seems fair to me though I have never had this done before.

Is this a fair price?

These are my rims: https://www.autorimshop.com/bmw-335i...BoCATMQAvD_BwE

I think the estimate is fair for all 4 rims and for someone to come to you location to do the work. However, I wonder how good or how long such a "repair" will actually last. I don't have any knowledge of how curb rash is repaired and if the techniques are effective. I purchased four (4) brand new rims from Apex for $1050 and sold my old BMW rims in one week for $400. The math made more sense to me to get much lighter rims that look great. I will say I really like the HRE FF10 wheels but they cost a lot more any I did not want 19" wheels.

I was quoted about $400 for a mobile refinisher a few years ago when I was outside of Atlanta. I am kicking myself for not repairing my Style 189’s and will find someone now that I am back in Nashville.

That's a fair price and inline with what I've paid before

He basically grinded down the curb rash, spray painted then clear coated. They turned out very nice.

I would never do it mobile. Go to a reputable refinisher, dismount refinish as needed and remount/balance
