245 40 17 possible?
i have these wheels i think they are 8.5j is it possible to put 245 40 17 tyres on ? im fairly sure it is i had a look at the back and there is a ton of space behind the wheel .
fronts (as pictured) im not so sure might need to do 235 on the front. ive yet to figure out a way to get under the car without lifting it off the floor because if i lift it i cant see where the tyres sit. i think i could only do that on a ramp in a garage i think |

Check forum sponsor Tire Rack. There's a ton of fitment data there.
TL;DR: 245/40/17 fit easy, without modifications.

well it seems theyre not 8.5 theyre 8 but apparently the limit is 245 on 8j so thats good. got plenty of room on the back not sure on the fronts but I can always put the backs on the fronts temporary to check them its hard deciding if they will fit i cant get under the car without lifting it and when you lift it you move the wheels from where they normally sit so thats no going to work either only way I could check it is on a ramp
