Painted 335is trim?

I bought a 335is donor shell to get some parts for my N54 wagon swap into my wagon. The car still has the 335is textured metal trim inside (although one piece is broken, but can be glued). My interior is saddle brown and while I don't like aluminum on saddle, I'm wondering if the aluminum painted would look cool? Textured 335is might look better than piano black. I was going to paint or wrap the wood trim anyway.

I know the door trim won't fit, but my creative wheels are turning now.

Why not sell the 335is trim since it won't fit the doors, and use 3M brushed (please not the CF garbage) vinyl to get the best of both worlds? I've had the 1080 Brushed Black vinyl on my trim for 7 years now, and it's held up great. Probably make some profit even after vinyl, addl. adhesive, and any tools.

You're probably right, I likely will sell it, just looking to do something different possibly and thinking(typing) out loud. The center piece around the shifter got broken cause the previous owner was all impatient and ripped it out rather than use trim tool.
