I'd recommend the Silverline-X... We carry them both and FK's how i'll be going on my personal vehicle, 110% comparable to the KW's in every way except you'll save yourself some money!!

Wait I am confused here too.. I've been dealing with KW for long time now.
As what I recalled - the FK is the same as an ST from KW just another rebadged product. That saying its a good product. But its Galvanized steel of the KW product. I am pretty sure that is still the case and that FK still even sends their customer support over there? Let me know if I am wrong I really thought that was the case with FK. Anyway I voted KW's - let us know if we can help! |

FK makes several different lines as does KW. We do sell both set ups. I do like the FK more than the KW to be honest. I have been dealing with FK for 10 years now and the reason I like them is they offer quality products and great customer support. The FK is a little more performance driven in my opinion. I do like the firmer ride however I dont find the ride to be too harsh for a street driven car.
The key point to FK is that their has valving adjustable shocks uses Koni shocks within. These shocks are custom valved to FK's specs and use FK springs which are spring rate matched to the shocks. I do not know what kind of shocks KW uses. I am trying to find info on this but have not been successful yet. Waiting to hear back from a reputable source I do however think the KW is a great product as well. I do find the shock collars being all metal on the FK's a nice feature and I also do like the new added sway bar drop links. I also like the fact that FK has a double metal locking collars in the front whereas the KW has plastic front perch adjusters and a small set screw to keep it from turning. Keep in mind to absolutely NOT overtighten this little screw as it will damage the threads on the KW coilover and you will not be able to turn the collar to adjust the height. I have seen this happen in numerous occasions with KW coilovers. We do recommend the FK Stainless Steel line of shocks if you live in an area where you have a real winter to deal with. Here in CA or if you live in FL you dont have adverse winters to deal with so the galvanized is still a great affordable option. Keep in mind the Galvanized Konigsport coilovers are still made with Koni shocks and are great affordable choice for those customers who demand a valving adjustable solution. Stainless Steel Silverline Plus X equipped with Koni Valving Adjustable $1299 ![]() Stainless Steel Silverline Plus X equipped with Koni Valving Adjustable $1299 ![]() Galvanized Steel Highsport Coilover $899 ![]() I welcome all and any questions any of you may have. Please feel free to PM me or email me directly at eric@supremepower.com We have good inventory on FK and KW at great prices. Let us know how we can assist. We also now have state of the art Longacre Racing corner balancing scales! So give us a call and set up an appt should you require this service as well. ![]()

I've driven in a E92 335i with KW V2. Very smooth ride. I don't think you could go wrong either way KW or FK.

Are those stock photos, or actual photos of E9X applications? I'm curious, because those look like 60mm springs and not the stock style that flares out near the top. Does these come with new spring perches?

NOTE: I should have said that both KW and PSS10's can be converted to use 60mm springs (as I understand it) but requires changes not only to the springs, but the upper spring perches as well (meaning additional cost.)

scollins:
Good eye scollins! I do believe this is one of the reasons the FK perform the way they do! These do use the 60mm race spring style set up. These are indeed the exact coilovers for your E9X. They actually do away with the top hat which is needed for the stock springs and the KW set ups which are a tapered design and are designed to bolt directly onto the top mount. I will post some pics up or you so you can see the installation of these coilovers. Also here is a pic of an E90 335 we just completed. There is plenty of adjustment up or down. These are the highsport coilovers (galvanized and non valving adjustable. They rode great and provided excellent handling characteristics. Featured on the car below: Beyern 20 x 8.5 and 20 x 10 Falken 452 245/30/20 and 285/25/20 FK Highsport Coilovers Split Second Turbo Tune H&R Front and Rear Sways Britalman Exhaust Matte Black Grilles Rear fender rolling was required as these wheels are et30 all around. Congrat Lance on your new car! Still amazed it had only 79 miles on it when you drove it in from Long Beach BMW to have everything installed. Enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
