size of screen?

Hi, I'm just curious on the actual dimensions of the i-drive screen. I remember reading somewhere that it is 8.8 inches diagonally. I'm waiting for my 325i to get here and i'm just curious as to what the actual dimensions are. I tried searching but couldnt find anything. Thanks in advance.

i'm pretty sure it's 8.8" in diagonal. as far as width/height i'm not sure because it's hard to measure because of the plastic covering the screen

well im not sure how accurate this is, but i looked at the clearest picture of the screen that was posted. after measuring the width/height, i estimated the ratio of width/height to be about 2.54. from using this information and knowing that the diagonal is 8.8 inches, i was able to approximate that the height/width are 3.22 inches and 8.19 inches, respectively. does this sound about right?

haha to get this i used a formula i learned in like 4th or 5th grade, a^2 + b^2 = c ^2
