Question just got my e92! (pics) and need some advice

well Ive been on this site for a while reading up on the car until i one of my own. fortunetly last night i picked up an 08 E92 335i sapphire black and coral red interior its fully loaded and all that.
well i needed some advice on the car..
is there anything important i should know about the car that i might not have been told about? Also i was going to start the mods for my car soon also. i was also wondering if i just get lowering springs..does it ruin any ride quality or anything like that because i don't really want to use that much money for coilovers. i was also planning on getting the m aero front lip spoiler. i was wondering if buying it from ebay is a good choice or not because it seems like a really good price, it is about 150$ so i was wondering..is it something that will last me? Also i was wondering about the ipod usb adapter that connects to the iDrive..it costs about 700-1000$ to get installed into the car so i was wondering if i can get it from somewhere else cheaper or is bmw the only ones that sell them? and ONE last question..does anyone know where i can get the hamman replica rims from? the black ones with chrome lip..
thanks for all the help

lol crappy pics i know but thanks for all the help!

ebay one is a replica with minor fitment issues.

Tischer has the OEM part for $285:

Amazing car. First thing I would do is change the trim to Brushed Aluminum, Piano Black, or CF.

congrats nice car buddy!!! i would just pony up the extra sach for the real spoiler after seeing the ebay one in person. the fitment is definatley off. imo the real one is every penny worth the extra $100.

Pretty much what I was going to say regarding the trim, but it can get pricey to change out the trim on the E92 cars. My recommendation there is to find somebody who is going to get their's wrapped in CF, and would be willing to trade + cash for their aluminum trim.

In addition, if you want to start off "light" by doing some wallet-painless mods, as I call it. You can do things like color-matched bumper reflectors, matte black grills, paint the lower grills yourself (on your 335i), corner-delete mod (if you're capable with electronics, for me it was easy), maybe some GP Thunder bulbs in the angel eyes and/or fogs, and if you plan on running with the stock wheels for awhile, get some spacers for the rear wheels to give it a more aggressive stance. I did those mods within a week of owning my car and was happy with the outcome. Clean & tasteful, and it still stood out from the rest of the crowd. The only other mods I did after that were picking up a second-hand oem aero front lip and oem M3 rear spoiler cheap.

My overall budget spent was around $750-$800.
