What the hell is happening to our nation?
Gas price are horrendous and I'm sure by mid summer prices will be astronomically high. On May 1st Mexicans are planning another walk-out and boycott on anything "American". Our National anthem has been "remixed" and is now spanish. Finally Mexico is just about ready to legalize "personal possesion" of controlled substances such as Marijuana, Ecstasy, Cocaine and Heroin despite the the combined efforts with the U.S. to fight drug trafficing.......It's going to be a long hot summer for 2006

We need to implement something extreme, like shooting people who try to cross the border illegally instead of just sending them back. Seriously, there is something amiss in this country now, that Spanish National Anthem is RIDICULOUS!

cost me $49 here. it is definitely ridiculous.
i agree that anthem remake was a step in a very wrong direction for them, they've simply crossed a line that should never be crossed.

I think the weakness is that if a lot of people protest, they will usually get what they want. I mean this is cool and all. Im just worried that one day some people will take it a lot further and will end up doing more harm than good.

I've been thinking about this whole immigrant reform stuff and realized that if the US is to give them a chance to convert into full citizens, they will only do because they know that the immigrants are a big part of this economy. Other than that, they wouldnt even be bothered with it. THey wont even care if a third of the nation protest. I have nothing against anybody. Im simply sharing my thoughts.

Cost me $50 to fill up 4 days ago. And i drove by the same station today and it was up by 10 cents from 4 days ago. Gas prices are not only affecting drivers, but all the businesses also. My restaurant has been usually slow, thus resulting in lousy tips for me. My best friend's business has been dead also.
on may 1st, we should buy as much stuff as we can. Cause supposedly the mexicans want to prove that without them our economy will suffer tremendously. However, if we go out and buy, we can create the opposite. Ah man, i dont know whats gonna happen, but something needs to change.

I thought this whole time we were talking about illegal immigrants. Why would we even be talking about legal immigrants? |

I'll tell you what's happening my friend. Our nation is on an irreversable, down-hill spiral. We have no borders, and a country without borders is not a country. Quite simply, our nation is For Sale, and has been for many years. It is just now becoming clear how total screwed we really are. What goes up, (and the United States has been up for over 50 years), must come down. In another 50 years we will be a third-world country.

I was watching Comedy CEntral and this one guy said "we should build like a wall all around the United States and hire all the club bouncers to guard it. Nobody takes their job more seriously than club bouncers". It was funny but has some truth to it. It's crazy how people from other countries are dying to come over here while all the mexicans have to do is cross the border. I hate getting involved in politics because topics like these always stir up heated arguments.
