Those door handles reverts back to the E30 and E36. Always liked it better than the door handles of later models.

I like the front of the car and sideview but the back just doesn't do it for me. Maybe I need to see it in person but I for what I've seen so far the back disappoints. It really puts me off to get excited about it. Especially with those fake exhaust tips.

I really love this car, especially in this purple. Can't wait to see these modded. It will be one of the rare new cars that will look great with classic style wheels and modern style.

I still would prefer more traditional headlights and taillights, but I love everything else. Can't wait for the M2.

Those should make a comeback instead of the new stupid stripes & stuff.

The exhaust tips are an industry standard now, unfortunately. Cheaper for them to manufacture and for future warranty/insurance repairs. Interestingly enough, some BMW models still retain 'true' exhaust outlets.

I've seen it in person, the back end just kinda doesn't fit the rest, the gloss black treatment on the bottom needs to go ASAP, but it's overall better than the 4er - which is not very difficult to achieve... It's not bad.

That's a hot car.

The purple is growing on me. But I'd spec a louder color like blue.

I really like the new design. I didn't care for it at first, but it has grown on me. The wheels are sweet!!!

I watched a video that stated that you could remotely start, view surrounding, turn ac/heat on etc on the G42.

Does the vehicle need to have the engine running to turn the heat on for the seats? I'm assuming yes as it doesn't have a 48volt system.

Also the main issue I had with the previous m2 comp was the small gas tank. This one is similar if not even smaller tank. With m240i xdrive carrying an additional 200lbs more than the m2 competition wondering how many miles can we expect out one tank in mixed driving.

the small gas tank is one of the things that has annoyed me about my f22 m240i xdrive. I was hoping the new version would be slightly larger but that doesn't seem to be the case. I can tell you that I get about 20mpg overall on my current 2019 m240i xdrive and I do mostly city driving with a bit of highway on the weekends. however i know I could get better gas mileage, but I almost always have it is sport mode and am constantly rippping on it so I can hear the glorious sound of the m performance exhaust with Dinan midpipe! . I'm guessing the new car with the updated b58 engine might get slightly better mileage but I doubt it will be much better due to it also having more power.

So much better styled than the 4series.

It looks really substantial and sporty. The only negatives are the taillights design and rear diffuser is a bit bulky.

I think this is one of the best daily sporty coupes you can buy. Why would someone choose the M440i over this?
