[2011 E90] Bluetooth but no music streaming

Hello,

I picked up a 2011 320D yesterday and it has the professional stereo with, Bluetooth but no iDrive.

I've connected my phone via Bluetooth and it works fine for phone calls, however, I don't seem to be able to stream music via Bluetooth. Do I physically need to install something to enable this, or does something need to be coded?

Checked Mdecoder and I have the following:

Multimedia
S644 Preparation F Mobile Phone W Bluetooth
S663 Radio BMW Professional
S694 Provisions For BMW 6 CD Changer
S698 Area-Code 2 For DVD
S6FL USB/Audio Interface

Thanks,

Superlander

Nope, calls only unfortunately.
But as you have USB & AUX you can buy and plug in a Tune2Air. They work perfectly with the BMW system and you have track skip control via the steering wheel buttons. Not exactly cheap but a great bit of kit

UK link here >> https://www.amazon.co.uk/ViseeO-Tune...52421398&psc=1

EDIT** Forgot to say, you can have your phone connected to the car bluetooth for calls and to this for music at the same time.

You can only get factory streaming with an idrive with the proper firmware
and a combox.
