The game play is decent, it's like a very long action movie. but those actions come and go, kinda makes the player keep asking for more it's pretty cool. i agree with pitt, i think it's the best need for speed i ever played. it's a pity because i can't find enough time to play thru much of the game, so when i saw cheathappens.com came up with a trainer, i just brought it , so i ruined the game in some way(that's how i can buy the "Veyron" in the game. well, using the fully tuned veyron in the game is like cheating already anyways)

edit: forgot to answer the questions. i have the pc version(because it's the cheapest to buy lol) i am no gamer so i can't judge is it a waste of time or not, i just think it's the best need for speed franchise ever offered. of course it doesn't have the depth of those simulation racing games, but i think i should look at it as an action game, not a racing one.

I'm glad nfs went back to making their games like this i.e most wanted, carbon. Prostreet was the biggest peice of crap nfs ever released. It just wasn't nfs worthy, it sucked ass.

IMHO I think Hot Pursuit 2 was the last GOOD NFS they made. Porsche Unleashed is right up there. I don't like this whole trashy ricer scene....that much. It takes away from what they used to have! Long countryside tracks/in the cities - exotic cars, not mazda3s etc w/e

Check this out, it scored 2.8 points lower (out of 10) than Prostreet. http://ps3.ign.com/objects/142/14234994.html

IGN gave it a 4/10 for PS3 and 5/10 for 360! Poor they said. Get Midnight club LA, they gave that an 8.5/10.

I actually learned things when playing NFS Porsche. Now that wasn't a waste of time, and replay value was great as times were difficult to better and AI was strong. Cars made good sound and handled well for the engine they used for that game. It was closest the series ever came to being a simulation (which is what I always preferred).

Bought NFS Pro Street and sold it to friend whose 5 year old son loves it. Nuff said for target audience.

+2

i am still patiently waiting for hot pursuit 3. can't speak much about undercover since i haven't played it yet but the return of cops is a big plus to me.

i'll be getting it for PS3. i hope it's not inferior to its PC and Xbox counterparts like some other recent games.

Damn.. why so much hate on this game?! I've seen so much trash talking/horrible ratings on this game it makes me think twice before buying it.
