Crashed and now I can't get into neutral
I recently had an accident in my E92 N55 335 and I plan on rebuilding it but can't move it an inch. The wheels are locked and when I move the shifter into neutral it doesn't switch over, it stays in park. Any advice on how to get it to neutral so I can move the car around?! Help!

If it's not listed in the owner's manual as it is for my cars, it's probably the screw method. In any case, this is a common enough occurrence with dead starters, etc, that you'll be able to find a video of it on YouTube with an internet search. Here's one example of the videos: |
