My 335 goes back to BMW...one of the 1st owners

Leased the 335 when it 1st came out, and my time is up with the car.
I was driving a 996 911 Turbo and happened to test drive the 335, fell in love with the car on the spot.
I have 21k on the clock, and the only issues were 2 faulty pumps that many of us original owners went thru. Otherwise, the car was flawless. Even those darned RFT's are still in place.
I drive the new Nissan GTR now, but still find the 335 to be a nimble, fun, tossable, safe car. For $43k, it was the best bang for the buck I've driven. Perhaps when the new 3 series changes find their way into the 335 Cab I'll be back.
Wish I had tried JB2 or Dinan (lord knows the car needs a limited slip diff IMO), but perhaps next time.

Keep giving the new M3 hell guys...I contend the 335 is the better car, esp for the $.

Admin - hell of a great board you created.

stick around your gtr would be a nice comparison when a turbo upgrade comes out ; ) so basically stay here for 8+ years until that happens....

I just hope you know you are driving a car whose laptime at the Nurburgring is 7'38'' (on a partially wet track........unfuckingbelievable!!!!!!!!) and it was faster than the Ferrari 430 Scuderia. And it was bone stock........

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

true but damn that gtr is fugly as sin!!! and for the 100-130k i have seen them going for and the crap interior i would take a 997 911 anyday of the week..just so much more refined than the gtr..the gtr is a great speed/handeling or nothing car but it lacks in every other area..where as Porsche is king..nissan can have the lap time hell the zr1 vette already shattered it...my point is i think the gtr is sooo over hyped a buddy of mine told the dealer to go f himself after he raised the price to 127k..for a nissan? if you can get it for 75-80k then ok..but 100-130k for a sport only nissan. no thx you..but nonetheless congrats on your car. the interior exterior just kills me and the guy who was going to buy it is a prominent detailer..for 127k he would have gotten a 911 turbo..much much sexier. the 997 is leaps and bounds above the 996 in quality and refinement they fixed all the complaints about the 996.

You can buy a GTR for sticker now. A good friend of mine runs a Nissan dealer back home, and he sold his first two GTR's for $115k each, and now he has another two for sale at sticker (I believe $73k for a white one and $76k for a silver one) The morons that were paying a huge premium already got their cars.

To the OP, congrats on the GTR, and best of luck with it. That car offers amazing performance that can be tapped into by almost anyone behind the wheel of it, but its at the expense of feeling a little bit numb IMO. I would still love to have one though.

My friends and me saw a bone stock GT-R run 11.5 at Englishtown this summer. We spoke to the owner afterwards and he said he loves every aspect of the car.Driving around town its as nimble as a 350z until you get on it.He paid 95k for it which is the best price he could get for it searching everywhere for one.My friend owns a Nissan dealer and showed me his invoice, his price was 69k.
