My New Smith & Wesson 637
This weekend I went to the gun club and picked up one of these 2" .38
They were basically giving them away! $349.99 + the $30 coupon from S&W PLUS I got a free trigger job from the man who does them at Smith & Wesson. That right there is a $140 job, I got free. So basically I got a $479.99 + $140 = $619.99 For $349.99! If anyone is in the Phoenix area COME TO THIS!!! I have yet to shoot it though. So now review yet. Here are some pictures of it... |

You really don't see the need for a gun? Try googling "home invasion" and you will quicklly realize the need for self defense, especially when you have something that someone can perceive as worth stealing.
My uncle and cousins were all held up at gun point last year on Long Island because someone heard that there was a safe in the house. Instead of being duct taped and begging for his life along with his families he could have reached into his dresser drawer when he heard them break in and blow them out of their socks. I guess you need to have your bubble bursted with something that shakes you up first before you can jump off the anti-gun bandwagon and realize that there is a legitimate need for a weapon for self defense. BTW, I'm not an NRA nut either... I'm just someone who believes that you should have the right to protect yourself in your own house.

Well thats the thing, think about what usually happens. The person attacking you is not at some long distance, usually within 50 ft. so you shouldnt need a lot of shots to take someone down. Unless it is pitch black when you are shooting and cant see s***. (BTW I know a 2" snub aint no dead on shooter)
Just go to the range and practice. Thats it. Now that is for out and about. When in your house, the distances could be longer, like down a long hallway. I also have a 1911 to protect the house along with a mossberg 500 that I do a lot of hunting with also. But, after a good hunting trip, I take off that 26" barrel and twist in the 18. Works I would recommend a 1911 .45 for home defence |

OP, please move your finger, your going to end up shooting your self.
keep your finger on the frame unless your ready to shoot someone/something. loaded, hammer pulled back and holding like so is a disaster.

I am all about having gun(s), I have shot them since I was a kid.
Posting so enthusiastically about your new gun on a BMW forum is somewhat questionable though, lol |
