Is iDrive Nav scroll reversible?

Hello all,

Can my iDrive Nav scroll to zoom in and out viewing maps be reversed by coding or other means? I would think rotating the controller clockwise would “zoom in” or drill down. But alas, it zooms out. Counter clockwise zooms in instead..

It’s backwards to my line of thinking... Tell me why I’m wrong here?

Actually I was just thinking about this the other day since I'm constantly going the wrong way; Following incase there is a solution
