BMW Canada online car tracking

So I just got my production number from my CA and decided to call BMW Canada for info on tracking the build process etc...

The rep on the phone said that the bmw.ca site should have that functionality shortly. Similiar tracking that the owners circle on bmw.com has.

Is this "coming soon" feature new news or have they been using the same line for the past 5 years? Thx

I can't really help you with bmw.ca order tracking but I when I got my VIN number I was able to track the car on the shipping Vessel using this link:

http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do

Click on auto tracking and paste your VIN #

Once it lands in Halifax and gets on the tran, you can track in thru CN Rail. Have to sign up 'tho. Just make up a ficticious company name.
