Procede v3.1 Drag Results

I headed out to Sacramento Raceway again this past Sunday with a few friends. Here are the specs on my car and Procede Settings:

2007 335i Coupe 6AT
Procede V3.1 (running pre-beta map 91 octane @ 90% UT)
100 octane
Vishnu DCI
Vishnu Catback Exhaust
AR Design Catless Downpipes
Code3 IC
Quaife LSD
Forge DV
Michelin PS2 on 19" wheels

My best run was as follows:

E.T. - 12.636
MPH - 115.381

I decided to play it on the conservative side and run the 91 octane map instead of running the beta race gas map. I am happy that I did as I did not exceed 16 psi on my boost gauge, so I am pretty sure I am at ~15.5 psi at the intake.

Traction was horrible, and I basically had to granny launch the car for all my runs, brake boosting anything over 1100 rpm induced far too much wheel spin. For my next trip to the track I will bring some drag radials and run the race gas map capped at 16.5 psi. Hopefully that will get me into the low 12s.

I will post a video once I have time to edit it.

The beta map he was running has map2 (race gas) disabled. He didn't know that until he got to the track.

Ryan-- Let's get the drag tires on that sucker and go for 11s. With those traps, it will do it for sure. Maybe without even uploading a race gas map.

As shiv said I did not know that map2 was disabled until I got to the track, I could of uploaded the beta race map, but decided to just run the pre-beta map on map1.

Nice trap speeds man.
With traction you'd be well into low 12's.

Well..what kind of power do you usually see cars that run over 115mph put down on the dyno. Afterall, isn't the dyno the best indicator of how fast a car runs?

Shiv, you sure you dont need a beta tester who's hitting up a real track and not a drag strip Ive done everything from 1.45 through the V2 betas and a few V3 betas at this track in similar conditions.... it would be interesting to see.

With these mods:

2007 335i Coupe 6AT
Procede V3.1 (running pre-beta map 91 octane @ 90% UT)
100 octane
Vishnu DCI
Vishnu Catback Exhaust
AR Design Catless Downpipes
Code3 IC
Quaife LSD
Forge DV

I'd say

382-385 rwhp
380-383 rwtq

Does anyone know how much power the DCI, Code3, DPs, and Exhaust are worth? How do they affect your traps?

I would have loved to know for sure and was hoping to find that out at the dyno day.
Hence one of the reasons I asked everyone to show up with their everyday 91 Octane in their tanks (except Down4it who I knew ran 100 Octane full time).
However, pretty much everyone with these mods ended up putting in race gas so it's hard to tell.

But to be honest, my guess all 4 of those mods are worth about 30-35 rwhp on the dyno.
And probably quite a bit more on the road where the FMIC will help keep heat soak from occuring, where the, DCI, catless DP's and exhaust will help the car breath in and out better and get onto boost sooner and longer.

Probably more effectively worth 40-45 rwhp on the road.
Just a guess though.

Great trap!

But, WTF is going on with the track prep at these West Coast tracks? You guys are getting screwed!!

Over here on the East Coast they have this sticky stuff that some flunky with a low tooth count sprays on the track. This guy is clearly not a rocket scientist. How hard can it be. Spray some fucking VHT already! You guys have great weather, hot chicks, beautiful sunsets and In-N-Out Burger. You deserve better.

Sorry, I just had to get that out.

Shiv
An E60 M5 (in P500) with 500BHP typically traps ~115mph.
