e92 LCI - LED Angel Eye kits?
I have a 2011 335is. All 4 Angel eyes are dead. I have swapped out two of the LED drivers to see if that fixes at least one side, reset FRM, short circuit counter, etc etc, nothing. So, instead of dropping $1,000 on a new FRM and drivers, I figure just putting in an LED Angel Eye kit that is externally driven will do the trick.
Trick is, finding a angel eye kit that is actually for the LCI e92 seems to be an issue. Does anyone sell a kit specifically made for the e92 LCI headlights or does anyone have any feedback on what they did? Thank you. |

Aren’t you opening the headlights up?
Just get a new set of angel eyes and fix them in place of the old angel eyes? I think all the angel eyes are made to fit into different model bmws. |

I said screw it and bought a kit from Bavgroup. It's specifically made for the LCI and is supposedly plug and play. Plus, they sell these awesome little 3D printed tab replacements for the headlight mounting tabs. As three of mine broke off.
