Wheel Alignment
Follwoing an earlier post reference my car wandering a bit having fitted PS2, I have decided to get the alignment checked. A local tyre firm are kitted out with a Hunter KDS rig and will do the job for a maximum of £75.
The local BMW dealer wants £200 to do the work on their laser rig. Does anyone have expereince of have the alignment done on a non-BMW set up and if so what were the results? Finally can anyone suggest a specialist in the Bournemouth/Poole area that could do this work. Thanks Oscar |

If the independant is good the alignment will be as good or better than BMW for less money. I had a full alignment done by an indie for half the price of the dealer quote and it was an excellent result. The car was better all round in terms of handling, tramling reduction and reduced nervous behaviour.
The criteria for a good alignment is a tech who understnands what he is doing and takes the time to get it right. If you Goggle for hunter kds, hunter have a website that lists the siteds wit their kit. |
