Apex Wheels Question, Offset?
I have a 2013 328i I just purchased. It has Beyern wheels on it that the previous owner just purchased in November (2021).
Bought them from Discount Tire so I went back today to have them balanced and checked on. Front left is bent! (I also noticed that on the road, at low speeds, no issues with wobble or braking. Coming down from 75 mph or so, there was shaking and just an uncomfortable feeling coming through the steering wheel. ) That said, the purchased wheels are 18x8.5 +30 and the rears are 18x9.5 +45 This from the invoice. I am thinking of purchasing a set of Apex EC-7 wheels. I know I could get one wheel to replace the one that's bent or even see if the bent one can be straightened, but they are chrome and I'm not a fan. So new wheels it is. Doing a bit of research, is that an ideal offset or with that wheel size, should I be looking at 18x8.5 e.t. 33 and 18x9.5 e.t. 33? I got those figures from a number of posts I read on the Apex wheels. Thank you... |
