Time for service. Perhaps your brake pads need replacing?

Maybe check your car's service info. Like Shiv said a maintenance issue?

There's no need to be that sarcastic.
Just read the manual, and if you don't have one then contact the dealer.
It's due for service if it's displayed.

You are up for service, that control message is for vehicle check. Oh you do have 08, than your car might be drowing battery. Did you leave key on?

Same thing happend to me today. Turned the car off, then back on and it was gone. Checked the service info and everything was ok, no service needed. The engine started without a problem, no long cranks so hopefully it's not the high pressure fuel pump going bad.

I had this warning come up before however my service indicator mentioned a problem with the brakes and indeed, my brake pad sensor had been cut.

Probably brakes. Either call your dealer or bring it in.

Brakes is a different icon.

Pic of front of car is front brakes
Pic of rear of car is rear brakes.
