I've been researching this for few days now but im confused about all the sizes and offsets and spacers etc. and would appreaciate some help.

I'm thinking to put 19 inch e46 m3 style 67s on my e90 lci, will they fit?

I dont mind the 5% something speedo error but i'd like to keep suspention wear as close to stock as possible (if im making sense here).

the sticker on the drivers door is showing only two tyre sizes for 19 inch wheels, 225/35 front and 255/30 rear.

I was wondering if I can put in 40 or 45 tyre hight and would I need spacers or anyhting else? Also, why is there such a big tyre width difference if rims are same width?

The M3 wheels have different offsets which are done to match the wider fenders... So they aren't the best match for the non M cars that don't have a widebody kit depending on your goals.

It looks like people have done it and they fit but the rears are a bit tight and might rub on a lowered car: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88590
The fronts should have a 10-15mm spacer with longer lug bolts.



If you compare the fronts with the e90 style 162 18" wheel a style 67 would have 13mm less inner clearance so you would probably want to run a 10-13mm spacer. (note that the 225 wheels have 3mm less clearance than the 162s and fit fine)

On the rear it is the opposite where they have 13mm more inner clearance and stick out an extra 13mm compared to the 9" wide 225 wheel...


The car might look strange unless you space out the fronts to even it up.

Im on a stock suspension, I believe.

So I understand that I will need spacers for the front and I can only have 35/19 front and 30/19 rear tyres?

The 19s are .5" wider so they will stick out another 6mm...

I have 235/35/19 fronts and 275/30/19 rears on my pre-lci e90. The outer clearance will be your limiter in the rear.

rbryantaz ive dropped the idea of 19s. decided to spend that money on something else but im now being tempted by another seller of the same model but 17s in better condition for cheaper. with these the only factor going against these compared to the 19s is that theyre smaller and apparently replicas but conisdering all the factors them 17s outweight the 19s

Make sure that the 17s fit...

I tried to put a 17" m68 from my e46 on my 335i and it was too small to go over the calipers.

Did other 17s fit? From what I can see 335i has bigger brakes

I didn't try any other 17" wheels. I only tried it because I had a flat at the time and i had the spare form my e46 on hand.

The 335i brakes are larger, I am not sure what fits on the other e90s.
