Seat Question - Base vs. M3 Seat Guts
My E91 came with E90 M3 seats installed by a previous owner. They are heated and full power.
It also came with the stock base, non-heated, non-power seats. It sounds like the non-powered seats can go lower than the powered seats. If that's the case, can I swap the manual slider/height mechanism from the base seats to the M3 seats to get them lower? Obviously I'd like to retain the power adjustment for the seatback- angle, lumbar, and bolsters. Curious if anyone's done this before I start taking stuff apart. |

if you want this you need to search half-electric e90 or e92 seat frames
they do what you want to do

Hey guys, I'm a new E90 330i owner so not much knowledge about stuff so I may be posting in the wrong place.
I was wondering if there was a fix for the thigh extender at the base of the front seat? the handle has come off and the mechanism's plastic card thing has just slid out. The extender also doesn't click in anymore and is stuck in that very position. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! |
