Looks to be more of a taller estate car than a SUV/SAV/whatever new term gets coined. Definitely going to be the spiritual successor to the GTC4Lusso.

What kind of engine? So far minimal appeal here say vs an Urus which is nothing short of incredible.

Engines are expected to be a V12, and electrified/hybrid V8 of some type. Apparently all electric variants could also be a possibility in the future.

I dont know how an NA v12 engine suv is supposed to work... but we'll see I guess.

That's probably a pretty base spec with those wheels. The NA V12 is simply an incredible engine, I'm sure they can make the SUV just as great as the FF/Lusso. If it really does have a V12, this will be the only SUV that truly screams. That said, I don't have $450k or whatever for an SUV so I'll be in the market in about 6 years.

The guys on ferrarichat are already destroying it. It will probably end up being Ferrari's most sold car just like the Porsche Cayenne and Aston Martin DBX.

purists will hate it. people got mad when the x5, boxster, cayenne, urus were announced too. i'm not a fan of brand dilution either ... but its going to help keep the company alive.

i'm not sure if it will have a NA v12, its not going to have the low down torque to move heavy car. They will probably use a modified v8tt out of the F8.

Overall I like the design. But really not a fan of the black wheel arches. I don't understand why manufacturers do that. It makes it look like it has a giant wheel gap with tiny wheels. G05 non m-sport does that too and it really cheapens the look.

Yes, this.

Doesn't matter what "purists" think. It will sell. This car will do what it was made to do: sell.

Comparable to the current Cayenne Turbo with 4.0L TT V8. Although Porsche gets peak torque at 2k rpm. Ferrari should be a lighter vehicle so there's that.

Trailer hitch and roof rails are conspicuous by their absence. It's a grocery getter and golf club hauler more than off roaders (capable) like Cayenne, X5 and GLE. Probably not many Purosangue headed down Black Bear Pass into Telluride...

It would be good to see a comprehensive features and options comparison between Bentayga, Cullinan, Urus, DBX and Purosangue.

It’s not ugly but I don’t like all the plastic cladding. There is no need for that, no one is going to take his Puro off road. It also needs bigger wheels with concave rims.
