Contemplating a halogen --> xenon switch
I am contemplating a halogen --> xenon retrofit, along the lines of ADHD's awesome DIY. My car is a 2006 e91.
I have a few questions, for those who have done this: - Can the xenons be aimed like the halogens? I know the auto-leveling won't work because my car lacks the hardware. - Do I need LCI non-AHL housings, or can I use AHL headlights and disable the AHL function? Anything else I should look for (or avoid) when shopping for housings? Thanks in advance. |
