Flashing upsidedown bulb What is it..

Hey today i was driving and all of a sudden a light came up on the dash. it was an upside down bulb with and exclamation point in the center. Does anyone know what this is? it turned up after a while. i went to system check it was in there then eventually went away. Any ideas ? thanks

Its in the manual. That means that you have an exterior bulb out. I have had the same indicator and then it went away.

hmm thank you. i looked in the manual must have missed it. Since it came off does that mean the bulb is working now? which bulb was out on your car? and thanks for the info!

It doesn't necessarily mean the headlights are out. It is the same symbol if the blinkers are out too.

I get that message once in a while too, saying either left or right brake light out. I check my brake lights and they do work. When I drive for a while, the error goes away. Must be a bug of some kind for the e92(which I heard happens). Lights don't bother me as much as fuel pump going out!

There is a bulletin about the e92. The rear bulb holder needs to be replaced. The original bulb retainers aren't sufficient to hold the bulb in. Updated/beefier retainers are used in the new bulb holders.
