Car moves forward slightly when putting into gear
Hey all,
So weird issue with my 08 335i. I've been having issues with anytime I put the car in first gear it moves forward about an inch then slides back. In addition to that it's tougher to put it into gear and when I do get it into gear it's notchy. The clutch has been releasing higher and higher so I decided to replace the slave cylinder. That allowed the clutch to release lower on the pedal and the issue seemed mostly resolved, it was still a little notchy but felt much better going into gear. Well the moving forward and notchyness is back today after driving it but it's still releasing lower. Should I replace the master cylinder? Is it something else? I've got a Spec Stage 2+ and their steel flywheel and BMS short throw kit. Any help would be appreciated! |
