Way to recycle old shagged stock turbos dude. 👍
You could stick a pulsar turbo g35 1050 or g42 1200 onto this for a budget performer.
Assume you are getting the gate onto the housing again for this one?

Yes you could put a pulsar turbo on it.
Thought about putting cheaper brands on it but struggle to see any turbo besides garrett or precision going on any of my kits.

Thanks

Heat sinks arrived and are now welded in.

Put new studs in manifold, 2 need to be cut to fit nuts.

Tried to fit 3 inch aluminium pipe but it need another silicone joiner at the top. Its ordered last week.

Wanted to make downpipe but realised I needed a precision flange off the turbo. You can see in one of the photos the v bands are not the same as other 3 inch v bands.

I have a few boxes of gear coming that will see this running.

Looking forward to making the down pipe. Downpipe has 87mm at the tightest point.

Done a few days work on this now.
Oik feed and drain made and fitted.
Wastegate welded to turbo.

Next up making the waterpipe off the block to water pump. It needs to be moved as it hits the manifold and will improve space for the downpipe.

90% done now.

Made the water pipe, exhaust and screamer.

Just have to remove everything and put gaskets on manifold and everything bsck on. (4-5 hours work) And have to make vaccuum lines which will take 10 minutes.

Photo of exhaust and screamer.
This is hoe I will dyno and roll race it but unable to go to drags like this.

Its up and running.
Started first go like is daily driven.
First start in 5-6 months on e85.

Few revs.
Turbo sounds are nice.
Going to sound crazy at roll racing!
