Don't see a regional section: tell me about the Salt Lake City Area
Looks like we'll be relocating there mid/late summer. With a "reasonable" commute to the area around 2100 S. Fwy and Redwood where should we be looking for housing?
Kids won't be coming except for a couple months during the summer, so doesn't need to be big. 3 bedroom 2 bath sub $800K (would like to be around $600K)must have at least a 2 car garage. Would love a decent yard for the 75# puppy What I expected to be an easy search, after seeing the RE market in SLC, might be hard to find what we want, but if we could narrow down decent areas 30 minutes or so away it would help not opposed to renting short term while the buying frenzy is going on... rentals up to $4000 considered. pets must be ok. Hoping to be there about 2 years or so... unless the area blows us away |

Avoid the final to the airport. Can be noisy, ESPECIALLY if they're using the 16 runways.
https://skyvector.com/?ll=40.7883933...art=125&zoom=2 We lived at 5875 South, 3885 West and it was in a pretty good spot noise-wise. The Avenues are nice. East of the 15 will be relatively quiet, airport wise; mainly helos. |
