Smile Torque Targeting and Throttle Activity-- Map/firmware update

Hi guys,
Those v3 users who want to try out the Demo map that I've been emailing around, please go here.

It is the same map/firmware that we demoed at the Taste Test this past weekend in LA. More info posted at the download site. Please read it

These are not the final maps/firmware. Just a little demo for those who are eager to see what the hubbub is about.

Cheers
shiv

I urge everyone to test these out, JP's car feels so smooth and powerful despite being the low boost configuration.

3) Both the ON and the OFF button are set to trigger Map1. This means that you cannot trigger Map2. There is a reason for this. Please leave it alone.

I've changed ON to map 2 at the Taste Test and have been using the remote. Should I change it back?

That's just for the final version. This is just a teaser. No need to take as many security precautions yet

Do you think there could be any foreseeable issues if running this particular firmware & map until you release the final firmware and maps? Just tried out; it's hard to tell, imho, but maybe that b/c going from stage 1 non-doomsday (90% UT) --> stage 0 doomsday (90% UT) on a more conservative map. But, it definitely feels smoother with good TQ in the mid-range.

So whats the advantage or new feature of using this new map/firmware.

Does it matter if I normally use non doomsday?

I've been using this doomsday version for a couple weeks.. there are no issues. But once the nonDD come out I'm obviously going to switch to that

so the question jpsimon is, should i wait for the nondoomsday version to come out, or will i experience enough difference to make it worth while to upgrade to this new map/firmware?

i wouldn't still be using this if there wasn't a big enough difference It really feels great. The responsiveness/smoothness is wonderful

Jpsimon, one last question, will i loose power going from non doomsday to doomsday, and do I run the same settings as I do now.
Currently I am running non doomsday stage 1 at 90% UT.

I'm going from the older nonDD Stage 2 to this, and it feels good enough to use until the nonDD final version comes out. The boost target is hit later with the doomsday versions, that is the only thing you'll notice... instead of the instant power of the nonDD maps... there is kind of a swell of power as you get faster going through the RPM's (instead of hitting full boost really quick and holding that close to redline).

Obviously nonDD is better, but this is worth using until then

Can i move the user torque setting to 90% or leave it as it comes?
