Hey guys,

Just wondering if anybody came across this issue before? I was driving down the highway and my display started going crazy. I see a code CC-ID 71 regarding the brake light. When using an OBD it shows that my front break pads are at 0% (which I don't think they are). This freak out started recently and even occurred during idle once before.

I'm seeing a lot about replacing a speed sensor due to the ABS and other lights being activated. Not sure if this is applicable for me in this situation?

Also a side not, last time I got my car serviced they forgot to put back 2 side covers in the engine bay (above the break fluid and the other side). When it rained I noticed my floorboards were a little wet.

With all this being said, anybody have a clue on what I should do before asking a dealership to diagnose it and potentially have to spend lots of money?
