Naples Florida...thanks everyone

Had the most enjoyable weekend, totally relaxed and what a GREAT experience from Naples Grande Resort. Talk about customer service.....
Checked in, handed the clerk $30 and asked if an upgrade was available for my wifes BDAY. Got the upgrade to a ocean view balcony room, chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne and a hand written birthday card.

As do most of you, I cringe anytime I valet but these guys were on point! Parked my car up front among the wealthy's and addressed me by name after the 2nd time heading out. Found out the valet has worked there 14 years...14 years as a valet.

Everywhere we ate was excellent, especially Ocean Prime. We will def be going back. I know a few of you live in the area and I strongly recommend this property for a great relaxing experience. Thanks for all your input

We stayed there a few years ago with our kids. The beach is amazing and there was a lot do around the area. The zoo was fun too. That was before Monkeypox though.

I thought they were joking when they said 10-15 minute walk to the beach. I didn't realize you have to trek through the African rain forest to get there. Thank goodness for golf carts

It was a hike. We rented one of the cabanas on the beach and spent the day there. I hate going to the beach and actually had a good time.

Looks great. We don't have the means that most on here do, so we went to Navarre a few weeks ago, but it was a fantastic time as well. Hopefully we can travel to the real Florida in the future and experience that type of luxury!

I waited 2 years for this resort b/c I refused to pay the normal price. I have had great luck with "Hotels tonight" app. They used to only allow up to 2 weeks in advance, but now you can go months out.

I've seen wild Monkeys in the trees on the coast in Ft Lauderdale …. you'd never think we have them but we do!

I've never heard of that app. I'll definitely check it out. Did they have a 4/5 day minimum?

Have you stayed at the Marriott in Marco Island? We were thinking of planning a trip there in the summer but the prices are crazy. I haven't been to Marco in 20+ years. How does this compare to that if so?

Stayed there in 2020. Great experience at that resort, as well as in Naples in general. Visit Gulf Coast Motorworks if you're in the area. Good friend runs the place, and keeps the most amazing cars there.

The JW in Marco is awesome, spent Thanksgiving week there last year and went to Naples for one nite. Marco is more chill and family focused imo.

Marco is the next trip, never been there. We had so much fun in Naples we never made it to Marco

Thank you but I really have not had any real pain/hardship compared to most. I like to complain alot...it's the only child in me

There was an escape decades ago and east of the airport is full of them. I park off site at FTL airport at the Park-N-Fly and there are monkeys everywhere in the parking lot. My kids love seeing them.
