Maryland Inspections

I know this topic has been beat to death but i'm curious to hear from any Maryland folks here.

I'm in the process of moving and trying to clean things out, so would love to sell my stock downpipes and pocket the cash or even throw that money back in to the car.

I however believe I may need them to pass emissions which I have coming up in around 9-10months. Curious as to how any of you have gotten past this? or do you just throw the stock downpipes back on?

You can get a tune that forces all readiness monitors to complete and just forget about the hassle of refitting stock downpipes.

I figured as much. I'll have to shoot my tuner an email.

I have also read that maryland accepts either the catalyst or evap monitor as unready but not both. That source is a document from 2013 though so unsure if it still applies. If so I should be fine to pass as is.

Awesome. Very glad to hear.

I think the cat money will go towards the Bilstein PSS9 kit.

Can pass using typical MHD flash with one monitor not ready if your state allows only one.

Figured i'd update this.

This is no longer the case. The most recent MHD update that solved the oscillations under constant throttle now stops the O2 monitors from readying as well.

If you force the monitor to complete won't it complete as a fail If you are catless?

I'm not sure what you mean force it to complete?

It won't complete at all as long as you have the catless downpipe option enable in MHD.

Gotcha. Seems the oscillation fix is now separate. I guess this would allow your monitors to set for a period of time while you need it and you can then afterwards flash it back in.
