Looks good, but you know what else looks even better, $1.4m in your pocket because that's what this car will cost in Australia

what a disappointment.
the 3.0CSL Hommage concept wasn't perfect but at least it looked bespoke and unique; with its own modern interpretation of classic BMW design cues. This looks like a narrower (!) M4 with a better grille and some loopy bodykit bits.

Lol @ floating rear calipers on a $300k+ car. A non decalled M4 GT3 with a CSL body kit would have sufficed

The rear was never going to match the concept since there wasn't really a way to have a functional trunk if everything was one piece. They should have at least kept the side exhaust. Maybe had to change a lot for safety regulations.

I do want to applaud bmw for apparently improving the G82, but this looks like the M4 LCI, not a "bespoke, coachbuilt" successor to the 3.0 CSL

Hood line placed correctly!
If they can place it correctly here there’s no reason for them to having placed it in the middle of nowhere on the M4. |

Wow what a dream it would be to have this thing in my garage. M is celebrating their 50th in a really awesome way. The reality is that BMW is a big company and to expect big companies to make truly custom, one off cars is unrealistic. It's amazing to me that this project (even with the M4 base) got greenlit within such a large corporate environment. I'm sure it will be an amazing driver's car, look great, sound great, and be very very fast. And they're probably learning a lot from it in terms of making the next gen M4 that mere mortals like me can luckily afford. Kudos to the team - can't wait to see the final product
